Why Should You Rotate Your Tyres?

DID YOU KNOW???

Why Should You Rotate Your Tyres?

Think tyre rotation isn’t necessary? Think again.

Rotating your tyres ensures even wear across all four wheels, which can:

• Extend tyre lifespan

• Improve handling and safety

• Save you money in the long run

For example, front-wheel-drive cars typically wear out their front tyres faster. Without rotation, that uneven wear can reduce your car’s handling efficiency—especially dangerous in emergency situations or on wet roads.

Bonus tip: If you frequently drive-up ramps (like multi-storey carparks), misalignment and suspension strain can cause one side to wear faster. Tyre rotation helps balance it all out.

When Should You Rotate Your Tyres?

It depends on your car, driving style, and the roads you drive on. But as a general rule:

• Every 10,000km is ideal

• Or every 6 months, especially in well-paved environments like Singapore

There’s no fixed rule—just make it a regular habit. And don’t forget to focus on the tyres doing most of the work—whether front, rear, or all-wheel-drive.

Drive Safe. Rotate often. Stay safe.
